Everyone is a gambler when it comes to the Super Bowl.
It’s a good idea to take a chance on pocketing some extra cash while attending one of the biggest sporting events of the year. It can be hard to decide what to bet on during football festivities.
We’ve got you covered like Tom Brady. There are five fun wagers for the Super Bowl between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals that could make you a few dollars richer. At least it will be entertaining.
The over/under is bet on.
One of the easiest ways to bet on a sporting event is to wager on the total points scored. According to FOX Sports Research, since the January 2000 Super Bowl, the under has hit in 12 out of 22 games.
According to Dylan Brossman, casual bettors tend to favor the over in the Big Game.
The casual bettor definitely takes over, and this year is no different. 75% of bets are on the over.
The coin toss is done.
Is it heads or tails? An age-old question that has echoed across schoolyards, settled debates between friends, and unfairly decided the outcomes of NFL overtime periods has been the subject of debate. The compulsory coin flip before the Super Bowl is an action that is inherently a wager. “It’s easy to bet at the coin toss,” Brossman said.
The coin toss is at + 100 on both sides. tails are favored by 53.6% of bets and 51.2% of the total money.
Straight up against the spread.
Gambling on sports teams’ records against the spread and straight up is one of the top factors considered by gamblers. Super Bowl favorites are 8-13-1 since 2000. They are 12-10 SU. If you want to make money out of this wager, you should take the Rams to win but the Bengals to cover.
The national anthem.
Can you tell me how long the soloist will sing the Star-Spangled Banner?
If you wager correctly, you could be cashing in your bet slip at the bank by the early morning hours.
Mickey Guyton will perform the national anthem. The anthem has gone over oddsmakers’ set time in eight instances and under six times. Seven of the past nine performers recorded two minutes or more when singing the song.
Will the performance go over or under? Get your stopwatches ready.
Will Beckham score two or more points? Will Ja’Marr Chase be the last player to cross the goal line? Will Joe “Cool” Burrow’s passing yards go over 275.5 yards?
FOX Bet has a long list of player props.
Brossman acknowledges that the most popular player markets in the Super Bowl will beMVP and anytime-TD scorer. The Rams’ wideout and the Bengal’s second-year star are high on the early bets.
“Cooper Kupp is the favorite to score a touchdown even at -182,” Brossman stated. “They are also continuing to back Joe at +200.”
Have you ever watched the entire game to keep track of how much money you’ve spent on player props?
