The spread is West -2

45 is the total.

The moneyline is West -150, East +125.

The West.

Miami quarterback D’ Eriq King is the main attraction for the East. The former Houston dual-threat had a season-ending surgery on his right shoulder in October and was a darkhorse for the Heisman. King has been getting reps at receiver.

Wake Forest wide receiver Jaquarri Roberson is one of the stars on the East offense. Bigkat Bryant, a defensive end from the University of Central Florida, is one of the notable prospects on defense.

The west

Three veteran quarterbacks are on the West roster, including Iowa State’s Brock Purdy, Notre Dame’s Jack Coan, and Kansas State’s Skylar Thompson. They have some nice weapons to work with, including North Carolina running back Ty Chandler and Indiana wide receiver Ty Fryfogle.

The West’s defense will have a number of familiar faces, including Utah’s Nephi Sewell.

The Shrine Bowl prediction is the best bet.

Under 45.

Only one of the 14 East-West Shrine Bowls has gone over 45 points. It is hard for an offense to get into a rhythm when the personnel have had so little time to practice with each other and that is especially true when players are constantly rotating in and out of the game. Think of this as an early-season game and hammer the under.
